Sister Rosemary Casaleno, CSJ, Transfers Perpetual Vows
On Sunday, October 18, 2009, Sister Rosemary Casaleno, CSJ, canonically transferred her perpetual vows to the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet during a Eucharistic Liturgy at St. Joseph’s Provincial House, Latham, New York.
Sister Rosemary, who was born in New Jersey, entered the Sisters of St. Joseph of Watertown on September 4, 1995, and professed final vows on August 19, 2001. During her three-year period of preparation for transfer, she worked as a clinical social worker at Parsons Child & Family Center, Albany, and at her present position as director of youth ministry at St. Edward the Confessor Parish, Clifton Park, New York.
During the Liturgy, celebrating Sister Rosemary’s transfer of vows, the Sisters of St. Joseph blessed her with the following words:
“Sister Rosemary, may God strengthen you inwardly through the working of the Holy Spirit.
May Christ dwell in your heart through faith.
May charity be the root and foundation of your life.
We delight in your request and promise you our love and support.”
Congratulations, Sister Rosemary Casaleno, CSJ! We are, indeed, delighted!
