Main NewsSister Lynn Levo, CSJ, Receives the Mary Emil Penet Award from Religious Formation Conference
Past recipients include, among others: Sister Sandra Schneiders, IHM; Brother John Malich, FMS; The National Black Sisters Conference; The Institute for Formative Spirituality at Saint Louis University; Review for Religious; Sister Mary Daniel Turner, SNDdeN; Sister Janet Mock, CSJ; and Rev. Anthony Gittins, CSSp. The letter, informing Sister Lynn of the honor, states: “You have been extraordinarily generous in offering your time, talents and skills to the formation of vowed religious, both newer and seasoned members. We especially appreciate the many ways you have engaged with the Religious Formation Conference itself: at our national congress and events held in different areas of the country, such as the recent workshop in Dubuque, as well as in programs sponsored by different RFC regions. You continually call us to consider emerging issues and concerns in formation for religious life and mission. Your presentations are consistently grounded and solid—and so engaging. The Mary Emil Penet Award is an expression of the Conference’s gratitude to you, a valued collaborator in our mission.” Sister Lynn is a consulting psychologist who presents on both national and international levels.
